Madrid has officially announced the launch of a new direct flight connection to China, strengthening air links between Spain and Asia and opening new opportunities for tourism and business travel. The route will connect Madrid with Guangzhou, one of China’s largest and most important cities, and will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Round-trip fares will start from €280, depending on travel dates, making long-haul travel to China more accessible for both leisure and business travelers. Flights will be operated using a modern Boeing 787 aircraft with a capacity of nearly 300 passengers, offering improved comfort and efficiency on the long-distance journey.
This new direct connection is expected to boost economic, cultural, and tourism exchanges between Madrid and southern China, while reinforcing Madrid’s position as a key international aviation hub linking Europe with Asia.
